Dental implants are the perfect choice when a tooth was lost, or was so severely destroyed, that it needs to be replaced. When do we choose an implant versus a tooth supported bridge? We choose an implant when the teeth in front and behind the available space are intact or are already covered by crowns. Implants are titanium screws, fixed into the top or bottom jawbone that will be covered with a tooth coloured crown that will blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
